Compelling Evidence

Compelling Evidence

We strive to protect trauma patients with an accurate, objective diagnosis. Treatment centers want to rehabilitate patients back to their pre-accident health status. For those of you who have attended the OSAC MIG seminar/presentation, you already know that the Minor Injury Guideline’s arrival challenges our mission.

Our diagnosis must now be more accurate and objective than ever before in order to conquer these new Minor Injury Guideline’s (MIG) immediately from the onset of the accident at the settlement.

The MIG diagnostic umbrella is designed to encompass the most popular of Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA) based clinical impressions: sprains, strains, bumps, scratches and even fractures.

There exists a series of specialty diagnostic tests screening for soft tissue injuries in the cervical and lumbar spine that do not fall under the MIG umbrella. OSAC’s mission is to conduct technical measurements using specialized x-rays to identify NON-MIG injuries such as Third Degree Ligament Ruptures.

The x-ray screens are simple to order. OSAC’s technical department will perform preliminary tests on the x-rays measuring for the Ligament injuries. When present, the compelling evidence guarantees a NON-MIG classification.
